Born in Israel, Victor Shrem trained as a ceramicist in Germany after serving in the Israeli Defence Forces’ Navy. After several years of creating pottery, Victor turned to painting, perfecting the use of watercolor, oil paints, and mixed-media. Inspired by Israeli folklore, Judaica, and Jerusalem, Shrem is known for his pieces that stained- glass windows in style. His work has been exhibited in galleries worldwide and can be found in various prestigious private collections.
