Ofek Wertman
An artist, designer and animator, Ofek Wertman is a second generation of artists. Opening in studio and shop in Tel-Aviv in 2006, Ofek combines contemporary pop-art style with ancient Jewish traditions and symbols, creating modern Jewish gifts and Israeli art. His art work and Judaica gifts are available at exclusive museum shops, including the most famous Israeli musuems; Tel Aviv musuem gift shop, Erets Israel musuem gift shop and the Israel musuem in Jerusalem.
Wertman's pieces display Israel's landscape; Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, nature and famous Jewish leaders that contributed to establishing and shaping this landscape. Herzl, Menachem Begin and Ben-Gurion feature his colorful trivets, bookmarks and business card holders. replicas of Nachum Gutman and Reuven Rubin, Jewish painters, feature as well modern Judaica.
In addition, his work displays his creativity and talent, putting together pop-art, colors and images of Jewish icons, Magen David and Ahava symbols in innovative Judaica pieces for Jewish home and business.
Ofek Wertman’s unique style comes from his experience as an animator and designer creating video art and original products, while translating his childhood landscape into creative products, wall clocks, coasters, and office products.
