Games and toys are typically not considered to be Judaica.  This is mainly because of the fact that Judaica items are typically used in religious environments and typically this did not extend itself to toys and games.  However, with the explosion of Judaica artists over the last fifty years, there are now a wide range of games and toys on the market for both parents and children.

Looking for a holiday gift for Passover or Hanukkah?  Consider a puzzle shaped like a camel or Hanukkah menorah.  Looking for something more elaborate?   World of Judaica also has traditional Dreidels made from various materials including olive wood, sterling silver and porcelain and are decorated with designs such as Jerusalem, the Seven Species, Hanukkah Menorahs and floral patterns.

A Bris is the celebratory event of when an eight day old infant is circumcised and given his Jewish name, which is his birthright. The act of the Bris or “Brit Milah” is performed by a Rabbi known as a “Moyel”. The concept of the Bris pillow was developed to keep the infant calm and relaxed during the ceremony, the easiest way to do so is to place the baby on a comfortable inviting pillow.

Most Bris pillows are exclusively white; most people don’t know that the Bris pillow actually refers to the pillow case and not the pillow itself. Any design can be embroidered on the Bris pillow; they are often decorated with liturgy read during the Brit ceremony. Bris pillows also can be decorated with traditional Jewish themes, such as the Old City of Jerusalem. It is also common for the baby’s full Hebrew name to be embroidered into the pillow as well.
